Finding the right car insurance can be tricky. Gary Evans, an agent with Farmers Insurance in Tucson, will make the fine print more understandable while promising not to turn his talk into a sales pitch.
Evans will give his presentation, “What You Should Know about Car Insurance,” at 3:30 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 21), in the Arizona Senior Academy’s Great Room.
He will discuss such topics as coverage areas and limits imposed by the state of Arizona, the limits and the contract between the insured and the insurance company, options that can be included in individual policies, and reqjuirements of financial institutions for coverages if the individual is financing or leasing a vehicle.
Evans will answer questions from the audience and said he is prepared to discuss uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, towing and road service options, and esidual debt coverage.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Auburn University, a masters’ in finance from the University of North Florida, took part in an Executive Master’s Program, at the London School of Economics. He has been a Farmers agent for the past 15 years.
